NPBC - The Elders

NPBC acknowledges Jesus Christ as the true Head of the Church, who has in turn appointed Elders to 'oversee' the local Church. Their primary responsibility is in the spiritual 'oversight' of the members of the Church. The Bible describes their role as like a Shepherd who is in turn accountable to the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ (1 Peter:5:1-4). Their shepherd role is to feed, lead and protect the flock.

What we Believe

That the Bible is the authoritative, inspired Word of God and is without error.

That there is only one God who exists in three persons. They are the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

That we are all sinners by nature and therefore under God's judgement.

That salvation is entirely by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Who died on the cross for our sins and arose on the third day.

That one day in the future, Jesus will return to take Christians to be with Him. He will also judge the world of its wickedness and set up His Kingdom.
